Well, here it is, Planetverse. It’s my attempt at a space-like game, and development started today, 29 December 2014. I started after playing Kerbal Space Program for several years. Just like KSP, I am developing Planetverse in Unity, which I already have some experience with. After a day of development, here is what I have!
Anyway, updates are coming soon, and if you’re wondering, that big blob behind the spaceship is the main star. None of the planets/stars have names yet, but all the job-applicants (not implemented yet) will have randomly generated names.
To do:
- Procedurally-generated universe, randomly generated unique names for all stars/planets
- Ability to customise your spaceship
- Procedurally-generated planet/asteroid meshes
- Procedurally-generated solar system
